OUR MISSION

​

  • Provide services to meet the “immediate” needs of homeless Veterans for food, shelter, and comradeship with other Veterans.

  • Work cooperatively with veteran support organizations that provide emergency housing, job training and VA service related benefits.

  • Foster therapeutic relationships and healing based upon trust, empathy and respect

Misson

CORE COMMITMENTS OF HELPING

  1.  Make positive encounters with homeless Veterans.

  2.  Seek to make “friends” with homeless Veterans.

  3.  Provide homeless Veterans with a Care Pak consisting of “items of need”.

  4.  Use dialogues to determine the Veterans “next step” needs.

  5.  Assign sponsors to “walk” with the homeless Veteran as he/she works his way back to home base.

  6.  Gather information to develop a Rescue Plan.

  7.  Connect each Veteran with services provided by the VA

  8.  Use Social Media to connect each Veteran with “lost” kin. 

  9.  Sponsor  GATHERINGS to foster hope and camaraderie. 

  10.  Take whatever steps are needed to make sure NO VETERAN is left behind.
